Description

The AT-VVs brush holder is for electric motors with slip ring blocks. It is made from stamped brass sheet and consists of two brush tubes with hinged fasteners. A flexible copper busbar made of fine copper wire is used through which current flows between the brush and the holder. The pressure of the spring on the graphite brush is transmitted via a cylindrical tension spring and is not adjustable. The brush holder itself is movable and connected to a circular restraint device (crosshead), mounted on the axis of the current ring. The kit includes two types of copper-graphite brushes, with options for either the hinged J164 (harder) or J204 (softer) carbon brushes.
