The AR-QY 3/25x32 brush holder consists of a 25x32 mm body with three carbon brush windows and three pressure fingers, each end fitted with a rubber shock absorber. The brush holder body and all clamping devices are cast from H59 brass and mounted on a brake (insulating pin). The force applied to the brushes by the fingers is generated by three cylindrical tension springs, one end of which is fixed to a shaft inserted into a hole in the brush holder body, and the other end is fixed to a shaft on the pressure pin by a screw. The screw also adjusts the spring pressure, which ranges from 1.5 to 0.1 kg. The brush holder windows accommodate three EG61 brand 2/12.5x32x57 mm two-piece brushes.
